Drawn to the Light is available in a number of standard sizes which include a satin white moulded ceiling rose designed to hold the bone china forms in a cluster around a single SES light fitting. The standard sizes are circular clusters of 36, 60 and 90 pieces, with a semi-circular 27 piece wall light cluster. Each standard luminaire is still made to order. By letting Scabetti know the distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the cluster, a piece is created unique to your interior.
Ceiling Plates
The 36-piece standard moulded ceiling rose which is also the suspension plate for the hanging forms has been designed to fix, (three fixing holes), to a contemporary flat ceiling. This plate is extended as shown here, to support the larger 60 and 90 standard cluster sizes.
When the standard ceiling rose would not suit your interior, bespoke ceiling plates can be commissioned. Two examples are shown here. The first is a 60-piece cluster hanging from a single line from the eves of a pitched roof, with a drop of over two metres. The ceiling plate is made out of solid oak. In this second example a 36-piece cluster sits beautifully in an interior with period features. The moulded coving and wallpaper on the ceiling mean that this more ornate ceiling rose is more appropriate for the setting. Image on right coutesy of Kelly Burnett.
Alternative Light intensity
The first launch of Drawn to the Light featured a light fitting with a china casing that made a feature of the naked bulb. This brilliance of light accentuates the natural translucent qualities of the bone china and casts enchanting shadows. There is now also a softer alternative for locations where the naked bulb might be too harsh. Offering a more ambient glow with a down-lighting effect is the thinly cast bone china shade that closely fits aroundthe bulb.

Drawn to the Light, in its standard form, is designed to take a 40W max.rated SES bulb.
