Scroll Shoals, Chalet Sagarmata
Verbier is a village in South West Switzerland in the canton of Valais and recognised as one of the premiere "off-piste" ski resorts in the world. This Shoal is sited in the exclusive Chalet Sagarmata, suspended above a four metre long dining table and beneath a skylight. The sculpture has a panoramic view of the mountain range, with the lower fish echoing the summits, slopes and valleys.
This formation is comprised of three scroll Shoals and two cylindrical Shoals, featuring approximately 1400 natural unglazed fish and in total measures approximately 3m (10ft) long, 1m (40") wide and up to 1m (40") tall.
